Microbiology Methods for the Cannabis Industry

Register for the upcoming workshop hosted by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) that will deep dive into the alternative microbiology methods used in in the cannabis industry.

Join us in Denver, Colorado, on June 9, 2025, for an opportunity to gain in-depth understanding about current microbiological methods that are utilized in the cannabis industry. Attendees will have the opportunity for hands-on learning of various techniques, along with tips, best practices, and guidance on proper cultural and molecular sample processing. The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session with the participating organizations.

Important Details

  • Registration is free, and open through May 31, 2025.
  • Registration is only open to state government employees.
  • Capacity for the event is limited due to space.
  • This workshop is being held separately from the 2025 CANNRA External Stakeholder Meeting taking place June 10 – 11, 2025. If you wish to attend the CANNRA Meeting, you will need to register separately for that conference here. Participants of this workshop will not be given free access to the CANNRA conference.

If you are attending the CANNRA conference, the Grand Hyatt Denver is offering a conference rate from Monday, June 9 - Wednesday, June 11, 2025. To secure a discounted rate, a reservation needs to be made by Monday, May 19, 2025:

Unfortunately, there is not a discounted rate for Sunday, June 8, as the workshop is being held separately from the stakeholder meeting.
